When a gas-phase system starts drifting earlier breakthrough, more frequent regeneration, fines loading the downstream filter the carbon specification is usually the first place engineers look. MICSORB™ coal based pellets are built for applications where volume and cost per kilogram matter as much as adsorption capacity: industrial wastewater dosing, VOC control, and gas purification running tonnes per month.

MICSORB™ coal pellets are extruded from high-grade coal into a uniform cylindrical format, then activated to build a pore structure that spans micro, meso, and macro ranges in a single granule. That range is the point it is not a single-purpose carbon. The same product family that handles industrial wastewater colour removal also handles VOC capture and chemical synthesis gas purification.
Five iodine grades ≥700 to ≥1100 mg/g and eight diameters from 0.9mm to 12mm give your procurement team the ability to match specification to performance requirement precisely, rather than over-specifying and paying for capacity you don’t need. CTC activity climbs from 40 at the entry grade to 95 at the top grade, so the grade selection is a real performance lever, not a formality.
It is the cost-effective choice for large municipal and industrial plants consuming tonnes per month, and the standard specification wherever the target contaminant is a larger organic molecule that coconut shell’s micropore-dominant structure is not built to capture efficiently.
