Activated Carbon for Gold Recovery
MICOCO GOLD™
Every gram of carbon lost to attrition in a CIP or CIL tank is gold you don’t recover. When the circuit is agitated around the clock and every fine that escapes the screen is loaded carbon you’ll never see again, the conversation comes back to hardness and activity in the same breath. MICOCO GOLD™ is our answer to that conversation.

Why MICOCO GOLD™ is built for gold-cyanide adsorption.
Produced from premium coconut shell, steam-activated to a materially higher CTC and iodine value than standard-purpose granular carbon, MICOCO GOLD™ is not a general adsorption carbon we happened to sell into mining. It is activated specifically for what CIP and CIL circuits ask of a carbon capacity and hardness held together, not traded against each other.
In an agitated tank, a carbon with high iodine value but soft granules sheds fines constantly, and every fine that escapes the screen is gold-loaded carbon lost for good. We hold ball-pan hardness at 99% minimum on both grades we manufacture, alongside iodine values that reach 1200 mg/g on the higher-activity grade so the activity your circuit needs doesn’t come at the cost of the carbon you keep.
Two grades GOLD 55 and GOLD 60 let your metallurgical team specify activity against ore grade, target gold loading, and regeneration frequency, rather than accepting a single specification for every circuit.

Where MICBLAC™ is specified.
Specified in applications where large-molecule adsorption capacity, cost efficiency at scale,
and dual liquid/gas-phase performance define the grade requirement.
Gold Recovery
CIP — Carbon-in-Pulp
High-hardness carbon added directly to leached slurry for simultaneous cyanide-gold adsorption.
CIL — Carbon-in-Leach
Carbon and leaching occur in the same tank — attrition resistance is critical to gold retention here.
CIC — Carbon-in-Column
Fixed carbon columns treating clarified pregnant solution downstream of leaching.
Elution & Regeneration
Thermal reactivation restores capacity; hardness sustains it across the full elution-regeneration cycle.
Heap Leach Operations
Column adsorption of pregnant leach solution drawn from heap and dump leaching pads.
Precious Metal Recovery
Silver and other cyanide-complexed precious metals recovered alongside gold in combined circuits.
